WATCH: Phil Mickelson has a new contender for his FLOP SHOT crown...

Phil Mickelson might be the undisputed king of the flop shot in golf, but he has a new contender for his crown in the shape of golf trick artist Ryan Jahn.

Jahn regularly posts a number of clever trick shots while he is honing his skills as a professional golfer out of Jupiter, Florida.

But there was one that stood out from the crowd, and it's this one below where Jahn flops his ball over what looks like a portable toilet and into the cup, all within the space of about seven feet.

Check it out below...

Reckon it's better than a couple of Phil's flop shots in recent times?

In need of some helpful tips on executing the flop shot?

Let Tiger Woods' former coach Hank Haney explain more in the video below...

YOUR SIMPLE CHECKLIST TO HIT A FLOP SHOT...

> Open the face of your lob wedge to increase the loft a little bit more

> Set up with the ball a little further forward in your stance than normal

> Aim your upper body at the target, then open your stance slightly

> Set up on the balls of your feet with more weight place on your front foot

> Bend your knees a bit more than would normally to help keep the body lower to the ground

> Make a full swing and keep the lower body quiet, while letting your arms and hands do most of the work

> Swing through to a full finish
