Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler asks Lee Westwood if LIV Golf will ever face PGA Tour in a Ryder Cup match? His reply says it all.
Lee Westwood had a hilarious response for Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler when he asked if LIV Golf will ever face the PGA Tour in a Ryder Cup style match.
Fowler, who scored 128 goals in 266 appearances over two stints at Liverpool FC, wanted to see what his good pal Westwood made of the idea.
According to Westwood, there is absolutely no chance of the match ever taking place.
In fact there's more chance of Fowler making a comeback to the Premier League at the age of 47, and putting on a Manchester United jersey.

Fowler tweeted: "Serious question Lee Westwood, could we see a Ryder Cup style competition with LIV Golf League taking on the PGA Tour? You'd get a few watching that, my idea [crying laughter]."
Westwood replied: "There’s more chance of you making a comeback and signing for Man Utd Rob!"
Despite Fowler claiming it was "his idea", it has been floated about for a while.
LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman even mentioned he would be up for seeing it happen.

Westwood will not be competing in The Masters in two weeks' time.
