UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has confirmed golf courses will be allowed to reopen in England from Monday March 29. It has also been confirmed that fourballs will be permitted on the course.
Johnson outlined his end of lockdown roadmap in the House of Commons on Monday afternoon, before addressing the nation with a Downing Street news conference.

Golf courses, tennis courts, basketball courts and outdoor recreation will be allowed to reopen on March 29, the same date on which people are permitted to meet in groups of six or as two households.
Johnson claimed that outdoor activities marked the "best way to restore freedom while minimising risk."
England Golf boss Jeremy Tomlinson last week urged the government to allow golf to reopen as part of the first wave in the easing of restrictions - READ HERE.

The first step in reopening up the country again will see all children return to schools and colleges at an earlier date of March 8.

On April 12, it is expected that non-essential retail can reopen, along with hairdressers, salons, gyms and swimming pools. Table service will also be allowed at beer gardens and outdoor seatings at restaurants for groups of up to six or two households.
Campsite and self-catering holiday lets will also be allowed to reopen, and weddings and wakes will be allowed to have up to 15 guests.
The next step out of lockdown will take place on May 17 when the 'Rule of Six' will be lifted for outdoors and replaced with gatherings of up to 30 people allowed. Indoor mixing will be allowed up to six people or two households, and cinemas, indoor restaurants and hotels can reopen then too.
Up to 1,000 people will be allowed at indoor sports venues and performances from May 17, and up to 4,000 people will be allowed at outdoor sports venues, rising to 10,000 at very large venues. Weddings and wakes will also be allowed to have up to 30 guests.
Then on June 21, the final steps of the recovery are expected to happen with all legal limits on social contact coming to an end. Nightclubs will be able to reopen, there will be no restrictions on performances or sports venues, and there will be a removal of all guest list limits for weddings and wakes.
