Charl Schwartzel: In the bag

Charl Schwartzel wrote himself into the record books with his fourth win at the Alfred Dunhill Championship in his native South Africa, becoming the youngest South African to 10 European Tour wins and the first South African to win the same event four times.

The Nike staffer made it three wins in a row at Leopard Creek Country Club, following his triumphs in 2013 and 2014, as well as 2005.

The 2011 Masters champion wore Nike's new Lunar Control 4 shoe, which was designed in conjunction with fellow Swoosh ambassador Rory McIlroy, who debuted the footwear in his triumph at last week's World Tour Championship.

On home soil Schwartzel, 31, was third in greens in regulation at 85.19% en route to a final score of 15-under par, four strokes better than runner-up Gregory Bourdy.

He averaged 300.12 yards off the tee, with an accuracy of 47.62%, and averaged 29.67 putts over the four rounds.
