GREY GOOSE VODKA has signed a three-year agreement to be the official spirit of the PGA Tour.

The Bacardi-owned brand will receive preferential positioning at TPC venues and at a wide range of tour functions.

Grey Goose will get pouring rights at a selection of PGA Tour, Champions Tour and Web.com Tour events and will continue to roll out its ‘Grey Goose 19th Hole Lounge’.

The vodka will also be poured at ‘PGA Tour Grill’ restaurants which are set to open at a selection of US airports in Spring 2014 and will also feature on PGA Tour television programming.

Shane M. Graber, vice president and brand managing director of Grey Goose Vodka, said: “Golf is a sport that truly reflects the brand value of the passionate pursuit of the extraordinary. The partnership with the PGA Tour, the world’s premier professional golf organisation, will enable us to have a deeper level of engagement with both Grey Goose enthusiasts and golf fans alike.”

The PGA Tour’s chief marketing officer, Jay Monahan, added: “We are very pleased to partner with such a respected brand and look forward to working with the Grey Goose team to activate on the three tours, as well as at our TPCs and special events.”

Grey Goose has been involved with golf for some time. It sponsors six-time PGA Tour winner Matt Kuchar and the ‘Grey Goose 19th Hole’ show on the Golf Channel.
