Paige Spiranac wants it on record: "I shoot lower scores the LESS I wear!"

Paige Spiranac admits she "wore a golf appropriate outfit" but it did not help her score.

Paige Spiranac wants it on record:

Paige Spiranac has taken to Twitter X to reveal she shoots lower scores on the golf course when she wears less, not more.

Spiranac, 30, is a social media golf sensation with more Instagram followers than any other golfer on the planet including Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy

Paige was teeing it up at Liberty National Golf Club on Monday afternoon wearing what she labelled a "golf appropriate" light green dress capped off with a smart white bucket hat.

But despite making birdie on one par-3 hole, see above, unfortunately she did not have her best round out there.

Far from it

Spiranac blames her attire.

Paige tweeted:

"I want it on record that I wore a golf appropriate outfit today and it didn’t help my score. I shoot lower the less I wear. It’s science."

She then took to Twitter to reveal she shot a round of 68 when she was wearing a different outfit.

Spiranac has previously spoken of times when she has been ridiculed and questioned by people over her choice of attire at golf clubs.

Taking a closer look at the thread of comments to her latest post, and it would seem the majority are in favour of her comment about science.

Paige recently spoke about a time when an old female golfer "berated" her over the length of her skirt on the golf course
