PlayMoreGolf have teamed up with Prostate Cancer UK to raise awareness of the disease in golfing communities across the country.

The company, which is the UK's largest flexible golf membership offering, will allow members to access Prostate Cancer UK’s risk checker on its website using a 30-second tool which can be found via this link: prostatecanceruk.org

This partnership will look to support and inform PlayMoreGolf’s member community, whose core demographic includes those most frequently affected by the disease, which are men over 50, black men over 45 and those with a history of family illness.

The work of Prostate Cancer UK spreads across the sporting landscape, with their iconic 'Man of Men' pin badge sported by football managers and TV personalities.

This relationship with PlayMoreGolf will look to further Prostate Cancer UK’s work with golf clubs across the country, and make their iconic logo as well known in golf, building on the charity’s work with the PGA and their members, elite player Danny Willett, golf YouTubers and club captains.

"We are delighted to forge this relationship with Prostate Cancer UK," said Jamie Carroll, the Director of PlayMoreGolf.

"This terrible disease affects so many men every year, many of whom fall within the demographics of our members, making this partnership even more important."

Prostate cancer kills one man every 45 minutes, which is the same time it can take to play three holes of golf. The disease is the most common cancer among men as it often doesn't show early symptoms and there is currently no national screening programme.
