Tiger Woods finds treasure on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show

Tiger Woods made fun of New Jersey while digging for treasure alongside Jimmy Fallon in a clip that aired on Sunday night's 'The Tonight Show'.

The hilarious video saw Woods and Fallon take to the golf course, with Fallon raking the bunker after making a 15 - which he claimed was actually a six.

Fallon then tells Woods he has found something under the sand, to which the 15-time major champion joked: "It's New Jersey, it's probably a body."

Woods then jumps into the sand, and being careful following his recent knee surgery, begins digging through the sand to find a locked box.

He then breaks the box with a driver, before the celebrations begin as the pair realise exactly what prize they've found!

Woods is no stranger to joining Jimmy Fallon on television following his appearance with Rory McIlroy in 2014 and also his former Late Night show.

The 81-time PGA Tour winner has been out of action since finishing tied 37th at the BMW Championship at the back end of August.

Woods has since had another knee surgery in a bid to improve his golf swing in 2020.

The former World No.1 has had problems with his left knee in the past, especially in 2008 when he won the US Open with a severely damaged ACL. In 2008, Woods underwent the same procedure to his knee where he had an estimated recovery time of four to six weeks.

Since winning the Masters in April, Woods hasn't looked the same. It seemed as though his injuries were a thing of the past, but since winning another green jacket at Augusta, Woods has only had one top 10 since.

Woods' next big engagement before the end of the year will be skippering the United States at the Presidents Cup this December.
