Graeme McDowell takes anger out on golf bag at The Open

 

Graeme McDowell's steady round of golf in front of his home fans fell apart spectacularly when playing the final four holes in 5-over par to finish day one of The Open on 2-over par. 

McDowell raced to 3-under par with a birdie at the 14th, but then handed it back with a bogey at the 15th.

He made another bogey at 17 to fall back to 1-under par, and then disaster struck at the home hole when losing his tee shot into the rough down the right.

Unfortunately for McDowell, his ball was located 12 seconds after the new three-minute time limit rule and he was forced to head back to the tee to hit his third shot. 

The Northern Irishman was understandably fuming and took his frustrations out on his golf bag. Watch below...
