ProQuip, another specialist when it comes to weatherwear, claims its Trophy rain jacket is the best and most playable waterproof suit it has ever made.
This slim-fit garment is so quiet there is virtually no noise disruption during the swing. That, as I've mentioned before, is a big advantage. There's no distraction of noise or excuse for a bad swing. It also provides total freedom of movement and the highest levels of waterproofing and breathability in the ProQuip range.
The distinctive fabric is crease-resistant and looks good even after being stored in a golf bag. It comes with waterproof zips throughout and waterproof front and pocket zips with snap down close pullers.
Developed through exacting and rigorous testing, a second pocket in the Trophy waterproof trouser gives access to trouser pockets worn beneath and was an exclusive design feature requested by Europe's Ryder Cup team.
Not quite as streamlined or as slim fit as I'd like but it's comfortable, smart and more than ready to battle the elements. It's also most importantly a product of Ryder Cup standard and it can all be yours for a very respectable £150.
