If you're looking for a new laser rangefinder for when golf courses reopen in England, there are many to choose from and having tested quite a few in our time, we know that a lot of them come with a hefty price tag, but the Shot Scope Pro L1 offers everything you need, for a fraction of the price.

Don't get me wrong, some laser rangefinders come with incredible technology and you can see why they cost over £400, but a lot of golfers just want a solid laser without breaking the bank.

GolfMagic's Alex Lodge recently tested the Shot Scope Pro L1 laser rangefinder at Knole Park Golf Club and we believe it just might be the best value for money laser currently on the market.

The PRO L1 is an affordable quick firing laser packed with features making it quick and easy to get your distance. Simple to use the PRO L1 rangefinder is the perfect combination of size, accuracy, and advanced technology.

Looking through the precision clear lens, simply press a button to switch between a Red or Black display. PRO L1 is designed so that you can see the course in all light and weather conditions. Adaptive Slope technology and target-lock vibration ensure you can swing in confidence with the PRO L1 Laser on your bag.

Red and Black Dual Optics: The PRO L1 provides the option of a Red or Black optical display meaning the optics are clear and visible in all light and weather conditions. Simply press the button to toggle between Red or black when using the laser on the course. This customizable feature allows the golfer to use whatever is their personal preference.

Target-Lock Vibration: Once you’ve locked on target, the PRO L1 sends a short pulse vibration to give you confidence that you have locked onto your target.

Target-Lock Technology: Shaky hands and being far away from the hole can make locking onto your target difficult. The x6 magnification and target-lock technology in the PRO L1 make it easy to lock on target.

Tough, Durable and Water Resistant: Designed and built with quality materials makes the PRO L1 a durable and long lasting laser. It is water resistant, meaning there are no excuses on those rainy days!

Adaptive Slope Technology: Our advanced slope technology accurately adjusts to your distance, taking the up and down hills into account, to allow for better club selection. On PRO L1 flick the switch to turn slope on or off.

There are plenty of rangefinders on the market that have nowhere near the amount of technology packed into the Pro L1, yet still charge over double the price.

Some golfers prefer the use of a GPS watch and that's completely understandable, given that you can get accurate yardages without having to aim at the flag, but the slope technology used in the Pro L1 takes hills into account when providing distance, something that GPS watches do not.

You might find other lasers out there that can do even more than the Pro L1, but if you're looking for an extremely accurate laser that's easy to use and clear to read, then the price of £199 is far more affordable than some of the Pro L1's competitors.
