Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS Driver - Key Features

  • Tour Proven Head Design: Callaway's lowest spin model in a compact 450cc head
  • Tungsten Speed Cartridge: places up to 26g low and deep in the head to increase speed on off-centre hits and give you more forgiveness through high MOI
  • Jailbreak Speed Frame: Callaway's patented A.I. Jailbreak Speed Frame delivers you with more speed and forgiveness across the face
  • Unibody Construction: the titantium unibody construction provides stability and lowers the CG, while the proprietary Triaxial Carbon crown and sole saves extra weight

If you are looking for extra forgiveness then the Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS Driver is certainly not for you. But if you class yourself as a very capable golfer or someone in the low singles, you will definitely want to take a closer look.

The Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS Driver was the driver of choice for PGA Tour superstar Jon Rahm in 2022, but he has now switched into the company's brand new Callaway Paradym Triple Diamond Driver for 2023.

The latter is a driver that tops our latest Best Golf Drivers buyer guide.

But since you're here for the Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS Driver, we'll concentrate on that in this review.

As always, our Equipment Editor Alex Lodge reveals the truth about this club in his video review below.

Player Level

If you are a mid-handicapper, it is better to choose a driver with more forgiveness. The Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS driver is certainly suited to better players.

Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond Driver - Looks and Feel

The first thing to note is that there is much more compact head shape on offer here compared to the rest of the Callaway driver line.

Game improvers will unlikely enjoy this head shape.

The Callaway Rogue ST Max Driver, for example, has a much hmore elongated face, which will increase the forgiveness on offer for you.

However, the feel of this driver is arguably the best of all the Callaway Rogue ST drivers.

When struck out of the middle, the feeling is very satisfying indeed. Better players will love it.

The driver always has a muted sound at impact. It's almost like it has a silencer on it.

Alex also said it gives him instant feedback when hitting it well.

Feedback is always important to golfers, but especially better players looking to maximise their distance and accuracy.

Callaway Rogue ST Max Triple Diamond Driver - Performance and Forgiveness

The most important thing to note with this driver is that it's not the most forgiving driver on the market, but it's aimed at Tour pros or very good golfers as we say. Off-centre hits were severely punished, as you can see from Alex's video review above.

If you are a very capable golfer though, you will love the performance on offer here.

Just your ball striking will need to be constantly on point as there is no help on squiffy strikes.

This driver produces a very low ball flight, perfect for someone like Rahm.

It is certainly a much lower flight than the game-improvement Max Driver model.

The Callaway Rogue Triple Diamond LS Driver also has a fade bias, again perfect for someone like Rahm who hits that exact shot shape.

Alex found the ball speed consistency to be much better than expected.

Overall, crushing long drives when struck out the middle, along with a superb feel and muted sound at impact, but just very little forgiveness to help you out.

Should you buy the Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS Driver?

Better players, or at least very confident drivers of the ball, will definitely want to take a closer look here.

Everyone else, we advise you to look elsewhere.
