Should you try JON RAHM'S new Callaway driver? Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond

Need To Know

- The feel of this club is amazing and the driver delivers great distance and great ball speeds.
- For most golfers, the compact head and the lack of forgiveness won't suit.
Our score:
PRICE: £479.00 YEAR: from 2022

The Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS is the driver of World No.1 Jon Rahm and this is because this driver is suited to the top players.

Callaway usually release three models with their driver ranges, but this year, the Triple Diamond represents the rare fourth model.

With credit to Callaway, the Triple Diamond LS driver offers the chance for amateur golfers to experience a club that is at the level of the PGA Tour.

This driver has a compact and small head which isn't as forgiving as the rest of the new Callaway Rogue ST family, such as the MAX model.

This driver produces a low ball flight and is much lower than the MAX model, which was released as the flagship model of the 2022 range.

The Triple Diamond LS driver has a fade bias. With this club, your ball-striking needs to be on point as there is no forgiveness for off-centre hits.

The Callaway Rogue ST MAX driver has an elongated face which increases the likelihood of a good connection and a solid shot. The Triple Diamond LS is essentially the opposite.

When Alex tested the driver at Silvermere Golf Club, he found the ball speed consistency to be better than expected. Even as a low handicapper, Alex was still surprised by his success.

Off-centre hits were severely punished as is shown in the review video above. The feel of the club is arguably the best of all the Callaway Rogue ST drivers.

When struck out of the middle, the feeling is very satisfying. The driver has a muted finish and it gives instant feedback when you hit it well.

If you are a mid-handicapper, it is better to choose a driver with more forgiveness. The Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS driver is certainly suited to better players.
