Zip It Tour

The first thing you notice about the Benross Zip It Tour Groove Wedge is the stunning anti-glare pearl chrome finish. This alone is enough to generate confidence at address.

But mid-to-high cappers will love the versatile and aggressive C-grind sole and the Tour proven teardrop head shape.

Every shot will benefit from maximum spin from the conforming grooves to give increased traction, control and shot-making capability.

Compared to much of Benross’s equipment  the Zip It wedge has a traditional look and has less offset than I anticipated. It also has an attractive brushed pearl finish to reduce glare.

This wedge is  very forgiving and it gave me a good deal of distance although I wasn’t getting massive amounts of spin. 

It has a solid feel, nothing to write home about but not something to put you off buying it either.

Verdict

A decent club for the mid-to-high capper and it offers good forgiveness and consistent distance.
