If you class yourself an avid golf fan and notice your schedule is currently empty between 25-27 July, we cannot recommend highly enough getting yourself a ticket to attend LIV Golf UK at JCB.

LIV Golf superstar Jon Rahm is back to defend his title and he will face stern competition from the likes of his Legion XIII teammate Tyrrell Hatton, two-time US Open champion Bryson DeChambeau, five-time major champion Brooks Koepka and in-form Joaquin Niemann.

Other players in the field include the likes of Cameron Smith, Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed, Sergio Garcia and home favourites Lee Westwood and Ian Poulter.

On top of the individual event going on over 54 holes, you've also got a team event taking place where the scoring is particularly volatile during Sunday's final round since all four player scores count on each team.

In this article, GolfMagic has listed five reasons why we think you should give LIV Golf a chance and pay a visit to its sole UK event of the season from 25-27 July.

Let's start with the main one...

You get to see the world's best (up close) on a stunning golf course

As we've already mentioned, LIV fields are stacked with some of the world's best golfers.

If the likes of Rahm, Hatton, DeChambeau, Koepka and Niemann don't float your boat, then do you really call yourself a golf fan?!

You've also got two tournaments going on for the price of one with both individual and team events taking place over the 54 holes.

Things are run a little differently on LIV Golf compared to other tournaments in the sense you can take advantage of a number of handy vantage points either up on the tee boxes or down by the greens.

While spectators must of course continue to abide by the rules and keep quiet when a player is about to hit (and please keep those phones on silent), things are just a little more relaxed in terms of how close you can get to watching the world's best golfers.

You need to be there to experience it.

The venue itself is also spectacular. JCB Golf & Country Club was in immaculate condition when we played it during the media day last week, and we guarantee you'll be impressed with the course design and layout.

Shotgun Start = Quicker Golf!

Forget heading to a golf tournament and waiting eight hours for the entire field to make their way through the 18th, because at a LIV Golf League event you're pretty much wrapped up in the space of five hours at the latest.

With a shotgun start, all players tee off at the same time on a different hole on the course.

It therefore means they all start and end up at the same time, and it speeds up play.

The time it takes to play golf is often one of the biggest drawbacks to our sport, but LIV Golf is doing things differently and we applaud it.

If you do decide to visit LIV Golf UK at JCB, the shotgun start for each round is 1.05pm.

Incredible atmosphere

Many players have already said it through the years, but UK golf fans are most definitely some of the best in the world.

UK golf fans are also very often the most appreciative too, rewarding good shots with applause when its deserved.

But when it comes to LIV Golf UK at JCB, things get turned up a notch even more.

There's music all around the course, there's high energy and just an all-round good vibe about the place, especially if you take advantage of one of a number of different ticket options at LIV Golf UK.

If you want to experience the very best atmosphere, we recommend taking advantage of a Birdie Shack or Digger Inn ticket.

Again, things are just much more relaxed here than at a traditional Tour event.

Yes, it's a bit different, but sometimes different is good and we think it all adds to the spectacle of LIV Golf UK at JCB.

More than just a golf tournament with the Fan Village

Another big reason to attend a LIV event is that there is something for everyone to enjoy, no matter if golf isn't quite for them.

When you visit LIV Golf UK, we recommend spending some time in the Fan Village.

Whether you're with your pals, your partner or the entire family, there really is something to do for everyone here.

There's games, challenges and a chance to win prizes, as well as a kids zone to keep the little ones occupied.

On that note, U12s go free at LIV Golf UK.

You can also load up on food and drinks in the Fan Village, too.

Live DJ set from Kygo on Saturday

And finally, if you want the best day for a party, we would highly recommend you head to LIV Golf UK on Saturday 26 July.

After you've sauntered around the course and taken in round two, you then get to watch dance icon Kygo drop a live set on stage.

Saturday is most definitely the day for you party animals out there!
