LIV Golf Schedule 2026: two new events get green light, season starts in USA
Report: The 2026 LIV Golf League schedule has been leaked with two new events and a season start in United States planned.
There will be two new events in South Africa and New Orleans on the 2026 LIV Golf League schedule, per Sports Business Journal.
The publication reports it has received information from a source that the below is the finalized schedule for LIV Golf in 2026.
The only possible changes will involve dates.
As you can see from the projected 2026 LIV Golf League schedule at the bottom of this page, only countries and cities have been listed.
The specific golf courses have not yet been made readily available.
Per SBJ's Josh Carpenter, the 2026 LIV Golf League season will once again begin in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in early February.
But instead of four straight international events to commence the season, there will be six.
After heading to Saudi Arabia, LIV Golf players will move to its most popular event on the schedule in Adelaide, Australia.
A two-week break will then follow before players head into three weeks on the bounce over in Hong Kong, Singapore and then a new event in South Africa.
Another two-week break ensues before those LIV players that have qualified will head into the season's first major at The Masters in April.
After that, LIV returns to its regular schedule in Mexico City.
The first United States event then takes place in DC / Virginia in mid-May, a week before the season's second major at the PGA Championship.
South Korea and Spain is then up before the US Open.
A week after the US Open, the schedule heads to New Orleans, and then there is a full month break before The Open.
This is likely down to a number of lead LIV Golf players commenting they wish to play links courses in the lead up to the final major of the season.
They will then be able to pick and choose which links courses they want to play as they hone their skills before going in search of the famed Claret Jug at Royal Birkdale.
LIV Golf then returns to the JCB UK event straight after The Open, before ending its season in Chicago, Indianapolis and Michigan in August.
