Report: Dustin Johnson makes up his mind over LIV Golf future
Two-time major champion Dustin Johnson has reportedly agreed a contract extension with the LIV Golf League, according to a report.
Dustin Johnson has reportedly agreed to extend his stay with LIV Golf, according to a report.
Two-time major champion Johnson, 41, was among the first wave of players to be recruited by the PIF-backed league in 2022.
Johnson resigned his PGA Tour membership and signed a three-year deal said to be worth north of $100m.
He joined other high-profile golfers and major champions such as Phil Mickelson, Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau, Patrick Reed and Cameron Smith in moving to the breakaway tour
It was understood Johnson's contract expired this winter, leading to speculation that he would try and return to the North American circuit given his poor form in the major championships since he joined LIV.

Johnson missed three out of four cuts in the majors in 2025. He has secured three individual wins with LIV but several analysts and former players have suggested he has lost his pedigree and motivation.
Those close to Johnson have always maintained this is a misconception and that he cares more than he lets on.
Johnson told reporters at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship last month he was targeting a return to the US Ryder Cup team in 2027 in Ireland.
He has not represented the stars and stripes since he helped Team USA demolish Europe 19-9 at Whistling Straits in 2020. That week, Johnson delivered an inspired performance, going 5-0-0.
