Butterfield Bermuda Championship: Which players missed the cut?

The defending champion was among those to miss the cut as the axe fell at the halfway stage of the Butterfield Bermuda Championship. 

Adam Schenk picked up his first PGA Tour title last November but was among those to struggle at Port Royal Golf Club this week. 

Schenk opened his account with a 4-over 75 and, despite bouncing back in round two with a 69, ended up missing the cut by seven shots. 

Other notables to miss the cut after 36 holes included Argentina's Alejandro Tosti, who hit the headlines last month after his caddie decided to quit halfway through the opening round of the inaugural Biltmore Championship in Asheville, North Carolina, after the duo bickered about an umbrella. 

England's John Parry will have the weekend off, as will highly-rated youngsters Mason Howell, Ben James and Aldrich Potgieter. 

Max Greyserman was forced to withdraw after nine holes through injury. 

At the other end of the leaderboard, PGA Tour rookies Kensei Hirata and Chandler Blanchet share the lead on 13-under, one clear of Seamus Power, Corey Conners, Eric Cole and Ben Silvermand.
