The FedEx St Jude Championship in Memphis marks the first of the FedEx Cup Playoffs events on the PGA Tour this month.
It was supposed to be a 70-man event but record three-time FedEx Cup champion Rory McIlroy, who currently lies second in the standings, decided to take the week off.
The field is therefore down to 69 players.
Japan's Hideki Matsuyama is the defending champion at the FedEx St Jude Championship.
Scottie Scheffler is attempting to become the first player to successfully defend the FedEx Cup.
The top 50 players in the FedEx Cup standings following the conclusion of play this Sunday will advance to next week's BMW Championship.
