Scottie Scheffler's caddie Ted Scott is forced to miss the final round of FedEx St Jude Championship at TPC Southwind.
Scottie Scheffler's caddie Ted Scott will not be caddying in the final round of the FedEx St Jude Championship at TPC Southwind.
Scott has had to return home to attend a private family matter, according to Golf Channel's Todd Lewis.
Scheffler's long-time caddie left Memphis on Saturday night for his home in Louisiana.
It has been confirmed by Lewis that Scheffler will have Brad Payne on his bag for the final round of the first Playoffs event.
Payne is the PGA Tour's chaplain.

He previously caddied for the World No.1 in the third round of the PGA Championship last May when Scott left Valhalla to attend his daughter’s high school graduation.
Payne drove from his home town of Dallas, Texas, on Saturday night to be with Scheffler ahead of the final round.
Scheffler starts the final round two shots behind 54-hole leader Tommy Fleetwood.
He is seeking a fifth win of the season and an 18th win of his PGA Tour career.
Scheffler tees off alongside JJ Spaun in the penultimate pairing at 1.30pm local time.
