Tiger Woods' son Charlie Woods fired a brilliant 6-under 66 to rocket up the leaderboard on day two at the Junior PGA Championships in Indiana.
Woods, 16, is competing among 155 other players at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette this week.
The Junior PGA is a 72-hole tournament with a 36-hole cut that Woods has comfortably made.
Woods opened steadily with a 1-under 70 on the Ackerman-Allen course.
But he then vaulted up the board 42 spots in the second round with a fantastic 6-under 66 on the Kampen-Cosler course.
Woods was an incredible 8-under thru 15 but made two late bogeys coming home.
His second round featured nine birdies.
Woods now looks on from 7-under par in fifth as it stands heading into Thursday's third round.
But half of the field have yet to complete their second round at the time of publication.
Woods is not only seeking a second title of the season, but if he can finish inside the top two this week then he will automatically qualify for the Junior Ryder Cup in September for the first time in his career.
As it stands, Woods is just two shots behind second place but seven behind the leader.
Lunden Esterline is having a week to remember so far at the Junior PGA.
Esterline opened with a 67 before surging to 14-under par for the tournament on day two courtesy of an incredible 10-under 62.

Father Tiger Woods is frequently spotted watching his son inside the ropes, but the 15-time major winner has not been spotted so far this week.
Whether we see Tiger follow his young cub out there for the remaining two rounds remains to be seen.
According to the Palm Beach Post, Charlie has been accurate off the tee so far this week and is hitting his irons crisp.
He has also been holing plenty of putts, especially on day two with his new L.A.B putter.
