Viktor Hovland brings the jokes in awesome 14 club challenge with YouTube star Peter Finch
Viktor Hovland is not only one of the best golfers in the world, he's also one of the funniest - and he proved exactly that in Peter Finch's new 14 club challenge video on YouTube.
Viktor Hovland brought both the skills and the jokes in the pouring rain as he joined YouTube star Peter Finch for his latest 14 club challenge video.
Finch and Hovland met each other recently while over in the United States.
They played a par-3 hole measuring 165 yards, or 150 metres as Hovland prefers to equate it.
The match was made all the more challenging as a result of torrential downpours.
If you are new to 14 club challenge matches, when a player chooses to hit a certain club, that club is no longer in play for the rest of the match.
You then go through the rest of the bag hitting seven shots each to determine a winner.
As you can imagine, it gets trickier as you move further away from the typical clubs for the yardage.
We won't spoil the result of the chalenge match for you, which you can watch by scrolling to the bottom of this page.
But we will tell you Hovland brought the jokes, as you might expect for one of the funniest players on the PGA Tour.
The most comical part of the video came towards the end when Hovland got down to hit a lob wedge.
He needed to thin it in order to reach the green, but he unfortunately came up short.
"Oh my god, nowhere close," said Hovland.
Finch replied: "Just think you've trained all your life not to thin it and it's come back to haunt you..."
"I can just see a full lob wedge I'm gunna hit next week just go flying over the green because of you. I'll see you in court, I'm coming after your whole production," joked Hovland.
Finch, who has one of the biggest golf YouTube channels in the world, concluded: "Well when you do that let us know cos that's when we'll release the video and we'll be like this is what he's talking about..."
Make sure you watch the video below through to the very end as Hovland hits an unbelievable putter off the tee!

Hovland has not been at his best so far this season but he still managed to register a victory at the Valspar Championship in March.
That marked his seventh career win on the PGA Tour and his first in more than 18 months.
Hovland is currently ranked 10th in the European Ryder Cup team standings.
But if he doesn't make the automatic top six into Luke Donald's team, he is fully expected to earn one of his six captain's picks.
Hovland finds himself on the 13th rung of the world ladder at the end of July 2025.
He finished a disappointing T63 at The Open two weeks ago at Royal Portrush.
Hovland's best result in the majors this season was an impressive solo third at the US Open.
But his wait for a first major title lingers on.
Hovland is considered one of the best players in the game without a major to his name.
Finch on the other hand is not just a YouTube star but also a very good golfer.
The popular influencer recently won his Regional Open Qualifier over at Caldy.
He carded an impressive 1-under 71 to get the job done and become eligible for Final Open Qualifying at Dundonald Links.
Finch didn't make it through to The Open but he gave it one heck of a go.
