Who is the wife of PGA Tour star Jacob Bridgeman? Meet Haley Farmer

As Jacob Bridgeman stands on the brink of his maiden PGA Tour title at the Genesis Invitational, much of the spotlight has understandably fallen on the 26-year-old’s stunning rise. An 80/1 outsider at the start of the week, he will tee it up in Sunday’s final round at Riviera Country Club with a commanding six-shot lead over Rory McIlroy, having surged to 19-under par through 54 holes.

But as Bridgeman prepares for the biggest round of his career, there is one constant by his side away from the fairways – his wife, Haley Farmer Bridgeman.

Who is Haley Farmer Bridgeman?

Haley is far more than just a familiar face inside the ropes. 

Like Jacob, she is a proud Clemson University graduate and hails from Inman, South Carolina – the same small town that shaped the early years of the PGA Tour hopeful.

The pair’s story began long before Bridgeman’s name appeared on leaderboards. 

Both studied at Clemson, with Jacob enjoying a glittering college golf career that included a record 50 rounds in the 60s before turning professional in 2022 after finishing second in the PGA Tour University rankings.

Haley graduated from Clemson in May 2023 with a degree in biological sciences on the pre-med track. 

Her ambitions lie in medicine, with her sights set firmly on becoming a physician assistant. 

During her time at university, she balanced the academic demands of the Clemson Honors College with involvement in Paws for PA and the Student Nurses’ Association, all while maintaining a long-standing passion for competitive dance – a pursuit that demands the same discipline, precision and composure under pressure seen in elite sport.

A relationship built on shared roots

Growing up in the same town, it is believed Jacob and Haley knew of each other long before their relationship became public. 

By 2021, Bridgeman began sharing glimpses of their life together on social media, including trips to a Riley Green concert and Clemson Tigers football games.

As Bridgeman transitioned from collegiate star to professional golfer – first on the Korn Ferry Tour and then onto the PGA Tour for the 2024 season – Haley remained a steady presence. 

Even during a challenging rookie campaign, she was regularly by his side.

Their relationship reached a milestone in December 2024 when Bridgeman proposed in North Carolina. 

“So thankful for you and for us,” he wrote at the time. Haley described the evening as “a dream”, adding she was grateful to “do life with you forever.”

A year later, on 19 December 2025, they were married at The Avenue in downtown Greenville, South Carolina. 

The rooftop ceremony, held under a black-tie optional dress code, was described by Bridgeman as “the best day of my life”.

Reflecting on the year, he wrote: “I am so grateful for such an amazing year. I accomplished things in golf that I’ve dreamed about since I was a little kid. I competed with my heroes. Developed and grew friendships. Was shown how incredible my support system around me is. And I had the best day of my life when I married my favourite person in the world.”

A good-luck charm in 2026?

Bridgeman has been in the form of his life in 2026, already reeling off four consecutive top-20 finishes before arriving at Riviera. 

This week at the Genesis Invitational, a tournament hosted by Tiger Woods, and he has taken another leap, producing the most complete golf of his young career to leave himself on the cusp of a breakthrough win against one of the game’s biggest names.

Speaking earlier in the week, Bridgeman joked that marriage might be his good-luck charm – and through the opening two months of the season, there has been little evidence to argue otherwise. He has been among the most consistent performers on the PGA Tour so far in 2026.

Now, with 18 holes separating him from a life-changing victory at the Genesis Invitational, Bridgeman will once again have Haley’s support as he looks to finish the job.

Whatever happens on Sunday evening at Riviera, it is clear that while Bridgeman’s career is accelerating at pace, the foundations of his success remain firmly rooted in home.
