The Hampshire Golf Club: course review

Golfmagic reviews the Manor Course at The Hampshire Golf Club, just south of Andover.

The Hampshire Golf Course

Set among 240 acres of rolling Hampshire countryside in the Test Valley, the course at the Hampshire has wide fairways and offers some spectacular views.

Located just off the A303 to the south of Andover and measuring 6,393 yards off the white tees with a par of 72, the course is a good length and very easily accessible.

Built on chalk downland, the club prides itself on having excellent drainage facilities and never having closed due to wet weather. It is consequently a very good winter golf course.

There is also a nine-hole 'Academy Course', a ten-bay covered driving range, a putting green and chipping green.

Green fees for adult visitors range from £12-£28 for a round on the main course (the Manor Course), with the cheaper rates starting from 12pm each day.
