With over 47 golf courses to choose from, Cornwall is a hotbed of British golf. We've picked out ten courses we like.

Another James Braid-designed links course, Perranporth's championship course is set on the northern coast of Cornwall, between Newquay and St. Agnes. The natural contours of the landscape make it perfect for links golf.

9. Lanhydrock Hotel & Golf Club

Situated just south of Bodmin in the heart of Cornwall, Lanhydrock is an open parkland course with tree-lined fairways. 10. Trevose Golf & Country Club

Trevose is one of the highlights for golf in this part of the country. This links course is on the north coast of Cornwall just outside Padstow. The championship course was designed by Harry Colt and there is also a nine-hole course that was designed by Peter Alliss, plus a second 18-hole track. Although the fairways are wide, when the wind gets up it becomes very difficult to shoot low scores, as the course record of 66 proves.
