Jon Rahm SMASHES microphone after SHANKING chip shot at US PGA
Jon Rahm took his anger out on a microphone after shanking his chip at the US PGA Saturday.
Jon Rahm took his frustrations from a shank out on a microphone Saturday at the PGA Championship.
The World No. 1 has had a tough few days at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York.
With four wins already this season including last month's Masters Tournament, Rahm was expected to contend this week.

However, the Spaniard was off to a rough start Thursday with a 6-over par 76 in the first round.
He followed it up Friday with a solid 2-under par 68 to narrowly make the cut at 4-over par.
He was nine strokes back of the leaders when he teed off Saturday for the third round in miserable, rainy conditions.
Needing to go low to give himself a chance Sunday, Rahm went the other direction.
He made back-to-back bogeys to start his round and was 11 strokes back from the lead before the final groups were anywhere near teeing off.
And things only got worse at the 182-yard par-3 5th on Saturday.
Rahm missed the green and landed in the left rough with 41 feet left to the hole.
He then proceeded to shank his chip and although it landed on the green, was still looking at nearly 50 feet to save par.
Before he got to the putt, though, Rahm took out his anger on the microphone laying on the edge of the green ahead of him, smacking it aggressively with his wedge.

Rahm was unable to hole the 50-footer and had to settle for a bogey.
Those frustrations then seemed to follow him a few holes later, when he was unable to find his tee shot in the rough.
During the search, Rahm was seen asking a cameraman to stop filming him. He said:

The ball ended up being found, however Rahm still went on to make another bogey.
Rahm rallied late with three birdies on the last six holes though and it all added up to a round of 72.
That leaves Rahm well out of contention at 6-over par.
