Former Open champion and European Ryder Cup hero Francesco Molinari set to launch his first teaching base at Pevero Golf Club in Italy.

Francesco Molinari to open highly-anticipated Academy at Pevero Golf Club

Nestled between the emerald waters of the Pevero bay and the Cala di Volpe bay, the Pevero Golf Club is a spectacular destination and home to one of Italy’s finest golf courses.

Designed by legendary golf architect Robert Trent Jones, the layout is aided by the pristine natural beauty of its landscape.

To add to the quality that is already on offer at Pevero, the golf club have created a partnership with 2018 Open champion and European Ryder Cup hero Francesco Molinari.

Opening in late 2023, The Francesco Molinari Academy will be the Italian’s first teaching base, and will be open to all members and guests of the destination.

Golfers will be able to benefit from the experience of one of the most technically efficient players in professional golf, and Francesco Molinari will ensure that his team of coaches adopt his philosophy of commitment and concentration in the pursuit of excellence.

Molinari will visit the camp throughout the year, including at the Academy's launch event, hosting coaching clinics and meeting both members and guests.

Molinari said:

“It’s long been a dream to open my own academy, and the first location simply had to be in Italy! Pevero is a beautiful location, and I’m delighted to be creating a facility which will rival the best in Europe.”

With the addition of the academy, Pevero Golf Club has also joined an elite group of courses around the globe in becoming an IMG Prestige venue.
