The four-time Ryder Cup course’s perilous bunkers and lakes have tested some of the greatest players including Seve Ballesteros, Tiger Woods and Nick Faldo, so every morning at 10.30am from now until the end of February, the starter will pull the trigger to signal the commencement of play on the immaculate track.
