Bermuda Championship Prize Money Payouts as Smotherman and Power contest Monday Playoff
Check out the final leaderboard and prize money payouts at the 2026 Butterfield Bermuda Championship.
The 2026 Butterfield Bermuda Championship has been declared a 54-hole event following adverse weather at Port Royal Golf Course, but the tournament champion is still to be decided.
Seamus Power and Austin Smotherman finished tied at 16-under par and will contest a Monday playoff to determine the winner.
The pair are tentatively scheduled to return to Port Royal at 9am local time on Monday weather permitting.
The playoff will be broadcast live on Golf Channel.
Power, who won the 2022 Bermuda Championship, will be aiming to add another title to his collection, while Smotherman has the opportunity to secure a second PGA Tour win in the space of three weeks.
The PGA Tour confirmed on Sunday that the tournament results would be considered final after 54 holes for all players except the leading pair, citing the unfavourable weather forecast and uncertainty over whether the final round could be completed on Monday.
In an official statement, the PGA Tour said: “Due to the unfavorable weather forecast for Monday at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship and the uncertainty surrounding the completion of the entire final round on Monday, the tournament results will be considered final through 54 holes in accordance with PGA Tour Regulations.”
With the remaining finishing positions settled, players now know how much prize money they will receive.
However, the biggest payday is still up for grabs, with the eventual champion set to collect $1.08 million from the tournament's $6 million purse.
Taylor Moore, Corey Conners and Ben Silverman share third place at 14-under par, earning $318,000 each.
Five players tied for sixth at 13-under par will receive $189,300 apiece.
Further down the leaderboard, players tied for 11th earn $133,500, while those sharing 15th place collect $106,500.
Professional players tied for 17th receive $82,500, with payouts continuing down the standings.
Amateurs Kihei Akina, Rudy Sautron and Miles Russell are listed on the leaderboard but receive no official prize money.
All eyes now turn to Monday's playoff, where Power and Smotherman will battle for the trophy and the winner's cheque, provided the weather allows play to proceed.
