This list is basically rubbish, because golf is for everyone, and it doesn’t matter if you look like an absolute prat while playing (as long as you adhere to club rules).
BUT, if you care about that kind of thing, and want to avoid looking like it’s the first time you’ve ever set foot on a golf course, we’ve listed six things you should probably avoid doing...
1. You use castle tees
Castle tees should be used on the driving range when hitting off mats, and never again. Most definitely not out on the course.
Call us golf snobs - yes, we know they do the job fine - but you rarely see decent players hit from anything other than wooden tees.
As if castle tees weren’t bad enough, they always seem to be pink/purple or some other garish colour, which then leaves the tee box looking like it's staged a rave.
