Jason Day puts new 2018 TaylorMade red putter in play

Jason Day last year put the TaylorMade Spider Tour Red putter on the map, and he is doing the same where TaylorMade's revamped 2018 putter is concerned.

While we can't yet reveal to you anything specific about the name and specs of the putter, we can at least show you some Getty Images of Day in action at this week's Tour Championship and last week's BMW Championship with his new weapon in play. 

As you will notice from the images, the putter features a new wingback design. According to reports, this is something Day has immediately noticed an improvement in his alignment, no doubt from the addition of three white lines on the crown.

"I looked at it and it sat pretty," Day told the PGA Tour. "I said earlier that this year I've been really struggling with my alignment and today felt really nice. I could actually lineup to exactly where I wanted to go and have that confidence knowing I'm starting it on that line."
