We're just a few weeks away from the showdown between Team USA and Team Europe at Bethpage Black, and with the teams finalised and barbs already being traded in press conferences on both sides of the pond, the hype is already hitting fever pitch.
While not an official partner of the Cup, Fujikura is set to have as big an impact on the play at Bethpage Black as any other. Its VENTUS Black and Blue shafts are among the most popular on tour, and will be in the bag of major Team USA and Team Europe players alike: Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler among them.
As such, the Japanese manufacturer has decided to honour the occasion with a limited-edition drop of its very own, reimagining their best-selling VENTUS wood shafts in liveries themed after both the US and Europe, allowing anyone looking for a shaft upgrade to pledge their Cup allegiance no matter the year.

Titled the Rivals collection for obvious reasons, the limited-edition collection consists US and Europe-themed renditions of the VENTUS Black and Blue shafts: the former rendered in an eye-catching white with red stripes and blue accents, and the latter decorated in a blue and gold pattern making use of the EU flag's famous stars.
“The Rivals Collection are performance shafts with a difference: they feature the same technology that has seen VENTUS set the standard in driver and wood shaft performance in recent years, while also giving golfers a chance to show who they are backing for glory at Bethpage," says Fujikura's Eric Recher. "Now they can show their national pride with every single swing as they back their guys towards victory in New York."
Performance-wise, both the VENTUS Black and Blue shafts remain unchanged from their namesakes. The Black remains the tour-loved favourite for elite swingers of the ball, offering low launch and low spin for ultimate control off the tee, while the Blue has a more rounded profile for better amateur golfers.
Both VENTUS models feature Fujikura's class-leading VeloCore+ technology, enhancing the feel of each shaft with premium materials to tighten dispersion and optimise ball speed.

“Fujikura and our flagship VENTUS line have enjoyed great success in 2025, with winners in every men’s Major," added Recher. "But we know that with one of golf’s biggest team events on the horizon in New York, that there is so much more to come from the golf season.
