Sun Mountain launches five new waterproof golf bags for 2027

Sun Mountain has unveiled five new waterproof golf bags for 2027, bringing its H2NO technology to three stand bags and two of its most popular cart bag designs.

The new collection is aimed at golfers who want to keep their clubs and equipment protected when the weather turns, with all five models featuring waterproof fabrics, seam-sealed zips and matching rain hoods.

Available from authorised retailers from December 1, the range includes the H2NO E-2.5, E-3.5 and E-4.5 VLO stand bags, alongside the H2NO C-100 and C-130 cart bags.

Rather than introducing completely new designs, Sun Mountain has taken five established models and added its waterproof protection, retaining the features and storage options that have made them popular with golfers.

Sun Mountain H2NO 2027 collection: What's included?

The three stand bags offer different options depending on how golfers prefer to carry their equipment.

The H2NO E-2.5 is the lightest option, weighing just 2kg. It features a four-way top with four full-length dividers, eight pockets and Sun Mountain's Dual Strap System, making it an appealing choice for golfers who regularly walk the course.

Despite its lightweight construction, it also includes useful extras such as a fleece-lined valuables pocket, a rangefinder pocket and a cooler-lined water bottle holder.

Golfers looking for additional storage may prefer the H2NO E-3.5. Weighing 2.2kg, it retains the four-way top and Dual Strap System but increases the pocket count to nine.

The H2NO E-4.5 VLO is the most substantial of the three stand bags, weighing 2.6kg and featuring a 14-way top with individual full-length dividers. Its VLO technology is designed to provide a secure fit on a golf trolley, making it a more versatile option for those who regularly switch between carrying and using a buggy.

All three stand bags feature an internal compression bottom to help keep clubs organised, alongside additional storage and cooler-lined drink pockets.

Sun Mountain adds waterproof technology to two popular cart bags

The collection also includes two cart bags, with the H2NO C-100 and C-130 both receiving the waterproof treatment.

The H2NO C-100 weighs 2.5kg and features a 14-way top with individual full-length dividers and seven pockets. Other features include fleece-lined rangefinder and valuables pockets, a cooler-lined water bottle holder and a cart strap pass-through.

That last feature allows golfers to secure the bag to their trolley without losing access to the pockets.

The H2NO C-130 offers additional storage, with nine pockets alongside its 14-way top and full-length dividers. Weighing 2.7kg, it also includes the cart strap pass-through, protected valuables storage and a cooler-lined drinks pocket.

The C-130 is already one of Sun Mountain's best-known cart bag designs, so the addition of waterproof protection should appeal to golfers who want its established storage and organisation features without worrying as much about unexpected showers.

Across the entire collection, the main attraction is the H2NO construction. Each bag uses waterproof fabric with a polyurethane coating, water-resistant seam-sealed zips and a matching rain hood to help prevent moisture reaching golf equipment.

Sun Mountain's 2027 H2NO Collection will be available through authorised stockists from December 1.
