G/FORE pushes playful luxury forward with its new G.112 golf sneaker
G/FORE’s iconic sneaker-inspired silhouette just got an uber-clean makeover for the 2026 season.

A number of brands in the industry have tried without luck to bring a playful, high fashion-inspired aesthetic to golf. G/FORE, however, has made a unique cocktail of disruptive style, luxury and performance-minded thinking entirely its own.
Their shirts and shoes, laden with bright pops of neon colour, camo and skull and crossbones motifs, are for those who want to make a statement on the course both sartorially and with their style of play. And thanks to their emphasis on youthful design and build quality, those who do try their products tend to fall for their charms very quickly.
The backbone of the brand's success is its shoes, which broadly come in three veins: the classically-styled Gallivan2r, performance-oriented MG4+ O2, and perhaps most distinctively, the sneaker-inspired G.112. The latter is perhaps the most representative of G/FORE’s boundary-pushing approach to golf fashion, endlessly wearable both on and off the course, with subtle points of flair that nod fearlessly towards its high fashion influences.

The former G.112 was one of the most distinctive casual shoes in golf, instantly recognisable for its clean, tennis-inspired silhouette offset by a bold, spiky outsole that wrapped up around the forefoot both for lateral stability and as a unique visual marker. Inside the shoe laid the technology that has earned G/FORE an additional reputation for pushing the boundaries of cushioning and luxury, with an engineered EVA midsole, a massaging inner sole and an interior mesh lining.
Now, in its first big move of what’s set to be a big 2026 for the brand, G/FORE has revealed its first revamp of the G.112 silhouette in some time, subtly tweaking its silhouette to emphasise a cleaner, more street-ready look while maintaining the effortless performance and style the model is so iconic for.
The biggest update comes with the removal of the G.112’s prominently spiked outsole, G/FORE instead opting to install a dual-compound spikeless dual traction pattern – a first in golf footwear – underfoot, combines sawtooth and lug elements for more grip, added stability and, thanks to its lower-profile nature, enhanced off-course wearability.

“The newly updated G.112 Golf Shoe is a modern and athletic spikeless style that seamlessly blends form and function,” G/FORE VP of Sales Casey Hoch tells GolfMagic.
“We’ve improved stability and boosted traction, perfectly complementing the G.112’s low-drop design, making it the ideal everyday golf shoe.”

Elsewhere, subtle tweaks have been made to refine the on-foot experience of the G.112 further. The EVA midsole foam has been updated to provide a more responsive feel underfoot, while the lightweight, water-repellant synthetic upper has additional ventilation. The mesh lining and FORE/18 massaging inner sole both return, generating a feel of sock-like comfort and indulgent luxury both on and off the course.
