Summary: Inspired by the most popular putters of the past four decades, the Nike Method Mod 30 putter updates the classic with modern technology to perform in today's game. This putter has less weight in the centre and more weight distributed evenly in the heel and toe for a lower, deeper center of gravity. Method Modern putters include Nike's revolutionary Polymetal Groove Technology, which uses a combination of soft polymer and milled steel grooves to generate faster, more controlled forward roll at impact. The distinctive 30-degree toe hang, determined by the weight location in relation to the head, offers a personalized feel for optimal forgiveness, roll and accuracy. Precision CNC milled face has been designed for premium performance.

Looks: This putter instills confidence with its classic design and the testers enjoyed the small details, such as the splash of red on the back of the putter. A simple alignment aid was to their liking and a simple face design also appealed. 4 (out of 5)

Feel: It split opinion with some marking it down as one of the best while some simply didn't like it. Those who scored it highly said it had a nice, soft feel which provided good feedback, while those who didn't like it much said it felt a little dull. 6.7 (out of 10)

Performance: Testers were banging them home regularly from 3-foot and felt confident from mid-range. A couple struggled on lag putts and judging downhill putts. The majority were happy with the consistent roll, although some thought that it was hard to control off the face. 6.8 (out of 10)

Verdict: A solid putter but you'll need to try it to decide whether it's for you as in terms of feel and performance it often split opinion. Great looking blade, though. 17.5 (out of 25)

Results: 100 putts holed (out of 180)
