Andrew Landry wins HUGE payout with victory at The American Express

Andrew Landry captured his second PGA Tour title on Sunday, winning The American Express and the huge payout that comes with it.

The final round wasn't without drama, as Landry came close to letting his hefty lead slip on the back nine after a run of bogeys allowed Abraham Ancer to pile on the pressure.

Landry kept his cool and birdied his final two holes to finish five-under for the day and 26-under for the tournament, two shots clear of Ancer who finished in second.

Scotty Scheffler, who shared the overnight lead with Landry finished in third place, while Rickie Fowler made a solid return to the PGA Tour, finishing in T10.

Many of the PGA Tour's main stars switched over to the European Tour last week for the Rolex Series event in Abu Dhabi, leaving some of the smaller names on the Tour to battle it out for the huge $6.7 million prize purse at The American Express.
