Beef drops trousers at Nordea Masters, saves par from hazard

Andrew 'Beef' Johnston whipped off his trousers to play a shot from the hazard on the 12th hole during the second round of the Nordea Masters on Friday.

Johnston pulled his drive on the driveable par-4 12th hole into a hazard, and then realised the shot was playable out the mud and so decided to take off his golf trousers in favour of a pain of rain pants.

Beef hit his second shot out the mud over the back of the green and then got up and down to save par.

Johnston went on to post a round of 2-under 68 to make the cut by two strokes, but finds himself nine strokes off the halfway lead set by Scott Jamieson and Paul Waring on 11-under.
