Patrick Sullivan appeared well on track to retain his Web.com Tour status in the final round of Q-School. That was until he putted his ball into the water on the 14th hole.
We've heard all the QSchool horror stories over the years. I was wondering if anyone had ever putted it into the water on the back nine to miss by one? If not.....dibs.— Patrick Sullivan (@sullivangolf) December 9, 2018
Sullivan, 35, went on to make double bogey but bounced with a birdie at 16 and eagle at 17 to give himself every chance up the last.
Then he missed this short birdie putt at the last to miss out on the top 40 qualifying spots that would give him guaranteed starts on the Web.com Tour next season...

Patrick Sullivan (@sullivangolf) went birdie-eagle on holes 16 and 17 Sunday to move within a shot of the current projected top-40.

Cody Blick, on the other hand, escaped from hell in the final round when going on to shoot 63 despite having his clubs stolen.
