Thomas Pieters' frustrations of not receiving a European Ryder Cup wildcard pick clearly boiled over into his second round of the European Masters as he snapped his putter over his knee at the par-5 14th.

Pieters - who was the top points scorer at the 2016 Ryder Cup - started brightly at Crans-sur-Sierre with a 67 on Thursday but then threw in a disastrous 77 to miss the cut on 4-over par.

After making a double bogey on the par-4 12th, the big-hitting Belgian made a quadruple-bogey 9 on the par- 5 14th. As he walked off the green, well, let’s just say his frustration was obvious...

It's not the first time Pieters has thrown his toys out the pram.

There was this one from The Open...

And this one at the Open de France...
