Sihwan Kim continued his nightmare season with the breakaway tour by posting an ugly opening round of 84 at LIV Golf Adelaide

Kim's score of 12-over par at The Grange Golf Club in South Australia was summed up with an ugly 10 (!) on the par-5 seventh hole.

The 34-year-old, who is part of Kevin Na's Iron Heads, started on the sixth hole alongside his teammates Danny Lee and Scott Vincent.

Things got off to a respectable start when he made a par-3 at No. 6. But then things got dramatically worse when he recorded a quintuple bogey at the very next hole.

When he got to the party hole, which is a LIV's answer to the iconic 16th at TPC Scottsdale on the PGA Tour, Kim sent one straight into the crowd.

Apparently, the wind took it.

See here:

By the time he completed his round, his 84 included four bogeys, two double bogeys, a quintuple bogey and one birdie.

One fan wrote:

"Sihwan Kim is the perfect example of why I’m happy LIV has relegation at the end of the season"

Another added:

"Sihwan Kim getting an early heads up to finish last for the fourth time in a row. Is anyone noticing this?"

The good news for Kim was that only the top three scores count in Adelaide, meaning that he didn't have to profusely apologise to Na (pictured above), Lee and Vincent.

The Iron Heads found themselves third in the standings after the opening round. Talor Gooch spoiled Cameron Smith's homecoming by posting a blistering 10-under 62.
