LIV Golf League Mayakoba: How much EVERY player won in Mexico

Charles Howell III claimed the first LIV Golf League victory of 2023. 

It was the first of 14 events that will be played after the 'beta test' of the breakaway tour in 2022. 

Howell III began one stroke behind the lead entering the third and final round and shot a bogey-free 63 on Sunday to claim his first win since 2018. 

Not only did he claim the top prize of $4,000,000 but he also earned another whopping cash bonus as Crushers GC won the concurrent team event. 

The American split $3,000,000 with team mates Paul Casey, Anirban Lahiri and their team captain Bryson DeChambeau.  

In case you didn't know, Howell is a 43-year-old pro who has played in more than 600 PGA Tour events. 

He bolted to LIV Golf last year having earned more than $42m on the North American circuit.
