WATCH: Patrick Reed with one of the funniest (!) fore shouts at LIV Golf…

Patrick Reed was involved in this hilarious exchange during the opening round of LIV Golf's event just outside of London

The moment for Reed came halfway through his first 18 holes when he found the thick rough left of the fairway at the par-5 13th at Centurion Club.

Now I know what you are thinking, if you are playing this shot then you will more than likely hook it left from this lie (that's if you manage to make contact).

You'd obviously expect a little bit better from a tour pro like Reed. There was no denying, Reed tried to play this shot with conviction and muscle his golf ball towards the green.

Unfortunately, the clubhead did get stuck in the grass and the 32-year-old ended up hooking it left. The only problem was there was a spectator in the way, and they nearly had their head taken off.

In absolute fairness to Reed, there wasn't really any time to shout fore and you could definitely argue the spectator really shouldn't have been standing in the firing line like that.

But that didn't stop Reed sheepishly shouting fore a few seconds after his golf ball whizzed past this person's head.

By day's end it was Cameron Smith who took a one-stroke lead into the second round.

Smith, 29, spent his post-round interview laughing it up about Australia's Ashes dominance, pondered Tiger Woods' silence about the PGA Tour/PIF deal and addressed how he's feeling ahead of his Open championship defence in a few weeks' time at Royal Liverpool.
