Where do you begin with Phil Mickelson?

During his illustrious career, the Thrill has hit so many incredible shots you could probably break down a top-10 from each individual event.

You will no doubt have your favourite. He is simply the ultimate 'play it where it lies' guy.

His most famous is undoubtedly that one from the pine straw on No. 13 at Augusta National on his way to winning the 2010 Masters.

The latest epic moment from Lefty came at Sentosa Golf Club playing the second round of LIV Golf Singapore.

Mickelson holed out for eagle on No. 7 and then had a pretty understated reaction to his incredible shot. He opted for giving a few knuckles and an 'aw shucks' smile.

The commentary team really did paint a picture of just how good it was, with Arlo White screaming: "Philllllllllll!"

Mickelson told the media of his shot at the par-5

"So I hit a drive right on the edge of the fairway and if it was in the fairway and I would have been able to create my own lie, I would have gone for it. But I was in the rough and I felt if I went for it the miss could be big if I didn't hit it perfect. So I ended up laying up. I said, I hit some good iron shots. I hit a really good iron shot on the hole previous, 6, I hit it about three feet and made birdie and I thought, gosh, I'm hitting my short irons really well, let me just get it in play and try to drive a short iron in there close. I hit a really good little cut 9-iron into that slope and it just kept releasing and went in. Like I thought it was going to pull up a little short and it just kept running out until it disappeared and it was a cool feeling to see that ball go in."
