Donald Trump has once again turned heads on the course after holing a chip shot while playing alongside LIV Golf’s Brooks Koepka, NHL great Wayne Gretzky, and Fox News anchor Bret Baier this weekend.

In a clip that has since gone viral, the US President and golf fanatic is seen clipping a shot that breaks from right to left before dropping cleanly into the cup.

His technique could probably do with some work, but there are no pictures on a scorecard.

Trump took two practice swings, stepped into the shot, and holed it.

He then trudged casually off the back of the green as the ball went down.

Trump's moment of magic moment came days after he declared he likely plays off scratch.

Koepka, a five-time major winner, was part of Trump’s group.

The former World No.1 endured an uncharacteristically difficult 2025, finishing the LIV Golf League season winless and missing three of four major cuts.

A T12 at the US Open was a rare bright spot.

News later emerged that his wife, Jena Sims, had suffered a miscarriage, offering context for his subdued form.

Koepka ended the year on a stronger note, posting a solo fourth at the Open de France and a T15 at the Alfred Dunhill Links on the DP World Tour.

Also in the group was hockey icon Gretzky, father-in-law to Dustin Johnson, who likewise went winless in 2025 and missed out on the US Ryder Cup team like Koepka.

Trump’s latest on-course clip surfaced shortly after he delivered an extended Thanksgiving call to US troops, during which he again praised his golfing ability.

Claiming to be “a scratch golfer or maybe even better,” Trump said he has won 38 club championships and recently defeated a plus-three player.

“I’ve been a good golfer over the years,” he said, before reviving his familiar criticisms of Joe Biden’s game.

Trump dismissed Biden’s previously stated handicap and questioned whether the former US President can hit the ball “30 yards,” referencing a point of contention from their 2024 debate.
