Speed and distance controls included in Linden Fairway model
Linden Golf's latest Fairway trolley boasts several improved features, but does not include, in the price of £199.99, the battery to power it.
The company's Paul Adams explains: "We started selling it that way as we had a number of customers who really didn't want a new battery which most other suppliers automatically include whether they wanted it or not.
"So the Fairway with an 18-hole standard battery costs from £254.98, though we recommend the better quality high performance battery kits taking the overall price to £269.98. We don't sell '36 hole' batteries...we don't believe in them!"
Built at the company’s workshops in Wellingborough, Northants, every trolley has a two-year warranty behind its rapid-folding, robust framework. Controls include a single ‘Cruise’ button which allows the speed to be set and resumed when the trolley is stopped and re-started.
The Fairway has a clear digital display for speed and time-saving distance control which allows it travel 10, 20 or 30 metres to the next tee while the golfer's still putting-out.
Its adjustable front wheel ensures straight-running while stylish treaded wheels are designed to provide good traction on grass and mud. Upper and lower bag supports adjust to hold most types of golf bag securely - even over terrain.
With its ‘Ice White’ powder-coated finish the Fairway is corrosion resistant, say the makers and available with several battery options including a new high spec Lithium model.
