Lightweight clubs aimed at starter kids

PING Moxie clubs join junior revolution

When, in its exclusive December feature, Golfmagic identified some of the latest golf equipment for kids, PING wasn't ready to reveal its latest addition to its range but has now continued its commitment to junior golfers with the launch of the new Moxie series.

PING says its performance and innovation are immediately evident in the engineering process of the three Moxie sets - each is suited to different ages and heights to assure that younger players are properly fit and equipped, allowing them to play their best and develop an early love of the game.

The lightweight four, six and seven-club sets are designed to match a young golfer's strength, size and ability, so the Moxie sets targeted at different age ranges. They are also available in right and left-handed models.

For juniors aged 6 to 7, the Moxie K set (£170) includes a 23-degree stainless-steel fairway wood, a 7-iron, sand wedge, Anser putter and a lightweight dual-strap carry bag.

Eight and nine-year-olds will be drawn to the Moxie G set (£215) which includes a 16-degree titanium driver, 23-degree stainless-steel fairway wood, 7- and 9-iron, SW, putter and a carry bag.

For juniors 10-11, the Moxie i set (£255) includes the driver, fairway wood, 27-degree hybrid, two irons, SW, putter and carry bag.
