Ram
has revealed the QUB3 Pro - its latest contribution to square-head technology which claims to generate straighter tee shots.

Ram says the QUB3 (Cube...get it?) is both long and forgiving as well as offering golfers the opportunity to hit fairway-splitting drives. For those new to the square-head concept - by re-positioning weight to the corners engineers claim it reduces horizontal and vertical twisting of the head to keep the clubface square at impact and deliver the ball more accurately.

The QUB3 Pro is available in two shaft options. With the Aldilia VS proto shaft its has a recommended price of £129 and with the Aldilia VMD it will cost £99. Lofts are 9.5, 10.5, 12 and 14 degrees in men's right-handed (10.5 only for lefties). There's a 12-degree version for women (right-hand only).

The original QUB3 was deemed non-conforming by the R&A, despite it having been passed as conforming by appropriate machinery in Japan. Ram Golf has agreed to replace any of the original model with a QUB3 Pro as long as they are advised by the end of February 2007.

The Uxbridge-based Ram brand (UK Golf Services) is also introducing the FX-I cabretta leather glove with Lycra inserts in pearl white and sizes from small to XL.
