Whitlam putters re-launched in the UK

Hummer II mallet set to be a popular choice

Whitlam putters re-launched in the UK

Whitlam Golf, featuring designs by the influential golf equipment craftsman David Whitlam, has re-launched in the UK from a base at Handcross in West Sussex.

The company makes precise CNC-milled putters and is launching a selection of models available through its website and at selected outlets.

Top of the range is the £169 Whitlam Code M heel-shafted putter -  a traditional design, milled from mild carbon steel and face balanced. It's alignment system, says Whitlam is deceptively simple. The Code M is also available in a centre-shafted option (£159) with shaft lengths from 31-36 inches.

The Hummer II and Hummer Classic cost £135 and £139 respectively. The mallet-style Hummer II combines a CNC milled aluminium body with a 303 stainless steel top piece to reduce twisting on off-centre hits and enhance stability.  It's available in black, red and blue with shaft lengths from 31-36 inches.

The Hummer Classic mallet incorporates a design to help get the ball rolling at impact sooner, for more precise putts and a softer aluminium body to enhance feel.

Completing the range is the heel-shafted Whitlam Jules putter featuring a soft CNC milled aluminium insert and priced at £159.
