BEN CRANE stumbled home to claim his fifth PGA Tour title with a wire-to-wire victory at the FedEx St Jude Classic in Memphis.
The 38-year-old American was afforded the luxury of carding a final-round 3-over 73 to seal a narrow one-shot win over compatriot Troy Merritt.
Crane held a three-shot lead over Merritt after 54 holes, with the third round completed earlier on Sunday after the first three days were affected by poor weather conditions.
Despite his victory, however, Crane is not eligible to participate in this week's US Open at Pinehurst.
