Jose Maria Olazabal will defend his EMC Golf Challenge title at Wentworth on 24th May

Benson and Hedges International Open Champion and Two Times Masters winner José Maria Olazábal, will be defending his EMC Golf Skills Challenge 2000 at Wentworth on the Wednesday 24th May before the Volvo PGA Championship.

The 18th hole on the East Course tests the skills of eight of the European Tour's finest players and will be televised by Sky Sports.

Olazábal is joined by Seve Ballesteros of Spain, Denmark's Thomas Björn, Bernhard Langer of Germany, the Scottish trio of Open champion Paul Lawrie, Colin Montgomerie and Sam Torrance, and Frenchman Jean Van de Velde.

The eight players will be competing for a total prize fund of $350,000 in eight different golf skills. The eight skills, which will be played entirely on the picturesque 18th hole at Wentworth Club's superb East Course, are: long drive, pitch shot, long iron, fairway bunker, trouble shot, putting, greenside bunker and short iron.
