Wobbly leaves Woosie

After 14 lucrative years, the partnership between Ian Woosnam and caddie Phil 'Wobbly' Morbey has ended. The pair ended their partnership amicably, reports Steve Pope

Woosnam has been joined by Irishman Miles Byrne, while Morbey is to link up with Jose Maria Olazabal after Brendan McCarten, opted to leave the Spaniard.

Woosie and Wobbly were one of the most successful double acts in golf, winning 35 tournaments, including the 1991 Masters and two Volvo PGA titles. They also teamed up in six Ryder Cups.
